I bought this seat prior to going on a 4 hour car trip thinking it would make the trip easier. It did until my son tried to sleep in it. He was dead tired but he kept waking up. There wasn’t really anything to lean his head against.

I wanted a booster seat for my rather large 3 year old that still offered 5-point restraint. Indeed this unit has it, but there are not enough adjustment slots for the crotch strap for growth. Will have to go to lap belt sooner than I prefer. Additionally, this uses the cheap, very thin straps that twist and frustrate. The release button is very hard to press, which might be ok (even preferred by some), but no for me. The plastic strap guides pop out of the fabric too readily. Good features are comfort for kid, price. If you are coming from a Britax, you will likely be disappointed.

This car seat looks beautiful, but my 2 yr old hates it. She cried for about 2 weeks every time I put her in, because the straps cut her uncomfortably over the upper thighs. Now she’s more used to it, but you can tell she’s not as comfortable as she could be. The straps twist, and it is really difficult to open it with one hand (which, when you’re a busy mom, is something you need to be able to do!)
The price is right, but that’s about it. I think I will go buy her a new one, and keep this one as an extra in another car.

We bought this booster for our 4 yr old so that we could move our 8 month old out of the infant carrier and into the convertible seat our oldest was using. The booster came very quickly and is very sleek looking. Our 4 yr old son loves extra room that it offers bigger kids. My only complaint is that it doesn’t seem that we are able to get it as tightly secured (using the hooks)in the car as we are able to get our Eddie Bauer convertible seat.

I really like this carseat. Biggest bummer is I wanted the cupholder. Because of where I park my car in my garage this carseat sits behind the drivers side. Unfortunately, I can’t have the cupholder attached and get the car door shut. I have had carseats where the cupholder can go on either side. Not this one. Besides that – good carseat.
