Don’t make little babies sit in these chairs when they are not able to sit on their own. It is not healthy for their health and spine developement. Don’t push babies beyond their abilities. Enjoy your little ones natural milestones. There is no hurry – they grow so fast!

As you may know, this product has been recalled due to 28 injuries (including skull fractures) due to this product tipping over. Our child fortunately was not hurt, but did manage to tip over the Bumbo starting at around 5 months.
This product is wonderful when it works but the risk of tipping is simply too high. It’s irresponsible that this product has not been pulled off the Amazon site. Do yourself (and your child’s safety) a favor and avoid!

My almost four month old son LOVES his Bumbo! The first time I sat him in it he was two months old and he did lean over quite a bit. It only took one more day for him to realize he loved sitting up! He loves to watch my husband and I do stuff around the house. Not to mention football! He enjoys this so much he likes to get baths in it (we are aware of the warning on the back of the seat, he HATES his baby tub)!!!
We’re looking forward to getting the tray (can’t believe he doesn’t have it yet!).

My baby is 6 month old and is not able to sit all by herself very well but she is bored of lying or being hold all the time. I should buy the baby seat earlier so that both she and I could be free for a while earlier. Furthermore, she is able to sit quite well without support after using the seat for a couple of weeks. I love the seat, so does the baby.
