My son and daughter in law researched every car seat they could as first time parents. This was their choice for safety and this particular pattern, for looks. It’s an early Christmas present because their baby is due in January. They’re taking it to parenting classes for proper installation techniques. I know they’ll be thrilled because this one was the winner for carrying their precious cargo.

I bought this seat b/c I know Peg Perego has a good reputation and I wanted a seat that went to 30 lbs. I am now regretting this purchase. Some of the problems I have had with this carseat are (1) It is really heavy to carry around with a child in it. (2) The chest clip on my carseat has broken twice. The place where I bought the seat has replaced it both times, but a chest clip should not break twice in 3 months. (3) I am now having trouble disengaging the car seat from the base. I usually have to try multiple times before I am successful.

Have been using it for 1 year now (my son is +11 months old and 26lb now).
It is good except latching to Aria stroller. Latching to stroller is frustrating. It looks like my wife and I will never get used to it.
We are happy with the quality and look&feel.

I enjoy the Peg, my Girlfriend purchased the car seat with an additional base for my car and my husband’s car. We have not had any issues yet and our daughter is almost 6 months old. I like the moisture away fabric for the Peg. I also really like the fact that the fabric has some kind of scotch guard protection. My husband and I went on a 7 hour car trip and our daughter who had made a mess that got on everything and it was very easy to wipe the seat down without leaving any stains.
The only drawback to a very safe car seat is that it does take a minute to buckle your child that is credited for the 5 point harness so this is understandable. I guess the only real drawback is that the carrier is awkward to carry. However the awkwardness with any car seat is there no matter the manufacturer. I have four “sister girls” who are new Mom’s in my circle and we each have different carriers. Each of us have complained about carrying the child in the carriers we have.
Overall I would highly reccommend the Viaggio.
