we bought this to attach the graco snugride… it was very flimsy and held on by a strap. i would not get this and am returning it to get a snap and go!

I bought this for our City Mini and our Graco car seat. Overall it does work well. I would like seat to “sit” in the ushape brackets a little better. I dont love the fact that you need to strap the seat in every time. It is one extra step. But since I love the stoller I can deal with it.
I also took all the fabric off the City Mini so the fabrics on the stroller and the car seat dont clash. It is a 5-10 min process. One other note is the basket on the bottom of the stroller gets caught on the snaps if you take the fabric off. It prohibits the stroller from opening and locking in place. Be careful and you may want to consider taking the basket off completely if you take the fabric off.

We have been using this with our Graco Snugride 32.
I have several beefs with this product. First, the instructions are not easy to follow. It is not evident how to adjust the stroller adapter for different carseats, and I actually had it set up wrong initially. Secondly, it isn’t all that secure. Thank goodness for the strap to hold on the seat, because the carseat doesn’t click into place with this adapter (as it does, for example, in the Graco Snugrider). It merely rests on top of the metal bar. Finally, it irks me to pay this much for a simple metal bar.
If you want to save money, spend the same dough on a Graco SnugRider Infant Car Seat Stroller Frame (if you have a Graco carseat, as most people do). You will then have a very functional stroller that will do you until you’re ready to use the Baby Jogger when your kid is old enough to face forward.

Since I have the city mini stroller~ Which I absolutely love~ this piece was necessary to make my Graco car seat fit on… So I say just buy it. :)

I really, really wanted this adapter to work for me with the city mini stroller so I did not have to buy multiple strollers. I bought the Graco Snugride 32 carseat to go with it and even called the company to make sure it worked with this carseat since the directions didn’t specifically say “32″. The carseat fit into the adapter, however, the weight of the carseat with the baby in it made the stroller very unstable. If you just slightly nudge the stroller from the side, it will almost tip over. I never tried more than a slight nudge for obvious reasons but I would never leave the baby in it and not have one hand on the stroller for this reason. The adapter is kind of a pain to take on and off, but folding the stroller with it on is a pain because the bar will hit you in the wrist if you aren’t careful and it hurts. I wasn’t able to do the one handed fold with the adapter on because of how much it hurt my arm.
All in all, I really do like the stroller but since I didn’t feel that using it with the carseat adapter and carseat, I did return it and buy a travel system and another smaller stroller that was less expensive than the city mini.
