When our grandson grew to transition from car-seat to booster we did some shopping around for the best option and this product came out tops. The fact that it clips into the LATCH hooks means it isn’t going anyplace in the event of an accident, and it stays put when not in use as well. The quick-release pull in front makes the Olli stand out from the other Clek model, and really makes taking this out of the car super quick and easy. Pushing it into the LATCH hooks is also just as easy as push and click.
If you can afford the extra $$ over some of the other non-latching boosters, you will enjoy the added security of a more-secure booster.
Oh, and our grandson loves it. Not just for the monkey, but he says it is more comfortable, too. For that part of this review Il have to take his word for it.

I have both the Britax Parkway and Britax Regent. Although they are both nice, they are not as convenient in carrying for travel to the airport. They are still big and bulky. I’ve read so many reviews on this booster on other sites, and I’ve read nothing but great things. This booster is for kids that are 40 pounds and up or 4 years and up. So if your child is younger, you’ll have to wait to buy this. This comes with a strap that you can clip on and carry like a bag when traveling. I love Paul Frank, so this design was really cute. The one key factor in purchasing this item was that it is the only booster that has latch-on clips that clip into your car like a regular carseat. For some reason, boosters on the market do not have this specialization. I find it odd that every company doesn’t do this to ensure secure immobility for the seat. It is very easy to install, unlike others and the covers are washable. The front pull release is great too, if you do not have time, you will love this feature. I like it so much, I’m thinking of buying another one for my younger son when he weighs enough for it.

I sooo wanted this seat. The design and construction of the seat are both excellent, however the LATCH system which sets this apart from all other booster seats is incompatible with the anchors in my Honda Accord. The Accord seat belt buckle is located between the LATCH anchors.
When asking Clek Customer Service about the situation, I received the following reply: “If either the seat belt or seat belt buckle are located inside the lower LATCH anchors, then we recommend that the seat be used unlatched (i.e. without securing the booster seat to the vehicle’s lower LATCH anchors). Providing that the child and booster seat are properly secured using the vehicle’s lap and shoulder belt system, the booster seat can safely be used unlatched.”
Considering the vast price difference between this seat and other boosters, the inability to LATCH suddenly makes the Paul Frank design a pricey proposition.
Word to the wise, check your anchor positions first and if all looks well, then this is the booster for you. I just wish I could say the same… :(
